Dietary and herbal supplements are generally developed to enhance the functionalities of our body systems. They may be said to be prophylactic in nature because they may be generally more effective before a disease conditions set in. Dietary and herbal product are taken through the mouth for internal use, and are usually in the form of tablet,capsules,lozenges, powder, or liquid.
