Fruits and Vegetables: Nutritional value of Lime Tree (Igi Orombo Wewe)

Lime is a citrus tree also called Igi Orombo Wewe by the Yourba people of West Africa has both nutritional and medicinal values. The fruits turn yellow when ripe and can be eaten fresh. Other parts of the tree such as the root, bark, stem-twigs, and leaves have medicinal use. The medicinal extract from all these different parts of the tree can be used as an anti-malaria agent.
